Our company was founded in January 1947, two years after the end of the war, when Japan was still under the occupation of the Allied Forces. Hanichi Kanemitsu built a factory in Higashihonmachi, Akashi City, and established the Kanemitsu Dohko Yosetsujo Company, a limited partnership that performed welding such as repairing parts. The company was born as a local welding shop that supported the postwar reconstruction from the ground up. 

At that time, the second president, Yukio Kanemitsu, was only 15 years old. While attending junior high school, he was excited about the world of manufacturing that he loved, and he jumped into that path without hesitation, and in March of the following year, he dropped out of junior high school and officially joined Kanemitsu Dohko Yosetsujo Company.

Five years later (1952), following the death of the first president, Yukio Kanemitsu became the second president at the young age of 20. For 57 years until 2009, he continued to walk the path of technology while working hard for the growth and development of Kanemitsu as the head of a company that always aimed for Only One Manufacturing.
